Flare is a standout set from the Throwbot Slizer line. Its vibrant orange color scheme and unique disc-shooting function capture the essence of the early Technic and Bionicle era, offering a nostalgic experience for older LEGO fans and a cool introduction for newer ones.

This set is perfect for collectors of early Technic and Bionicle sets. The build is quick and simple, making it ideal for a fast and fun project, and the completed model is perfect for display or imaginative play.

Skip this if you're looking for a complex and challenging build. Consider newer Technic sets or larger Bionicle models for a more intricate building experience.

⏳ Retired

Flare, as a part of the Throwbot Slizer line from 2000, holds moderate investment potential. Its age and status as a retired set contribute to its increasing value. The relatively low piece count might limit significant appreciation compared to larger sets, but its nostalgic appeal to Technic and Bionicle fans can drive demand. Maintaining the set in its original packaging will certainly boost its collectibility.

Compared to modern Technic sets, Flare offers a simpler building experience focused on functionality. While it lacks the complexity of newer models, its unique charm and nostalgic appeal make it a worthwhile addition to any vintage LEGO collection. If you prefer more intricate builds, consider modern Technic sets with higher piece counts, but if you appreciate classic LEGO themes, Flare is a great choice.
