📝 Our Take

Track Turbo RC is a fun, entry-level RC experience. Released in 2009, it offered a gateway into the LEGO Power Functions system at a relatively accessible price point, featuring a zippy little race car design and remote control functionality.

This set is perfect for younger LEGO enthusiasts and those new to RC builds. The build is straightforward and quick, making it ideal for introducing kids to the basics of LEGO Technic and remote control vehicles. It's a great way to get them excited about engineering concepts.

Skip this if you're an experienced Technic builder or looking for advanced RC features. This set is quite basic compared to modern Technic flagships; consider sets like the 42124 Off-Road Buggy for a more complex and feature-rich experience.

Investment Grade

The Track Turbo RC set presents a moderate investment opportunity. Its appeal lies in being an early entry in the LEGO RC theme and its relative scarcity due to its age. While not a highly sought-after set, its retired status and the rising price trend suggest potential appreciation. However, its lower piece count and simple design might limit its long-term growth compared to more complex Technic sets. Investors should consider the condition of the box and the completeness of the set, including the Power Functions components, as these factors significantly impact its value.
