LEGO YouTubers generally view the Rebel Trooper Battle Packs (specifically 8083 and 75164) with nostalgia, often citing them as classic sets for building Rebel armies. However, recent discussions, like those from MandRproductions, express concern over the rising prices of battle packs and the reduced number of minifigures offered in newer iterations like 40755.
MandRproductions appreciates the 8083 Hoth Rebel Battle Pack, highlighting the "Ron Swanson-like Rebel Officer." JANG's LEGO Reviews critiques newer sets like 40557 for offering fewer figures at a higher price point, reflecting a common sentiment about value for money in current LEGO Star Wars battle packs.
