The Good Fortune set (80117) presents a moderate investment opportunity, primarily due to its cultural significance and appeal to collectors of Chinese Traditional Festivals sets. The set's piece count of 1021 and reasonable MSRP contribute to its potential for value appreciation over time. However, the price trend is currently falling, so it's important to monitor the market. The set's availability and the popularity of the Chinese New Year theme suggest a reasonable demand in the secondary market, but it may not experience rapid or dramatic price increases. Its unique design and the inclusion of symbolic elements enhance its collectibility.
