⏳ Retiring soon

The Knuckles vs. Dr. Eggman Egg Crusher Mech set holds moderate investment potential. Its appeal lies in the enduring popularity of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and the set's unique design. While not a limited edition, the set features exclusive minifigure variants and a distinctive mech build that could attract collectors. However, its relatively low piece count and widespread availability may limit significant price appreciation. Investing in multiple sealed sets and holding them long-term could yield decent returns, especially if the Sonic theme continues to gain traction within the LEGO community. Monitor its retirement status closely, as this will likely trigger increased demand.

This set offers a unique mech-building experience within the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog theme. Compared to sets focused on level designs, this one provides a more action-oriented play experience. While similar in price to other Sonic sets, the mech build distinguishes it. Those looking for pure level building might prefer 76990-1 Sonic's Speed Sphere Challenge, but fans wanting a villainous vehicle will find this set appealing.
