📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Hailfire Droid & Spider Droid set is a solid addition to any Separatist army. Released in 2008, it offers a great way to bolster your droid forces and recreate scenes from the Clone Wars era. The inclusion of multiple battle droids and the unique Hailfire Droid design make it a desirable set for collectors.

This set is perfect for Star Wars fans and those looking to expand their droid armies. The build is relatively straightforward, making it suitable for younger builders while still offering enough detail to satisfy adult collectors. It's also a great set for army builders looking to increase their droid ranks.

Skip this if you're primarily interested in minifigure-heavy sets. While it includes several droids, the lack of Jedi or Clone Trooper minifigures might disappoint some. Consider sets like the Republic Fighter Tank (7679-1) for a better balance of minifigures and vehicles.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Hailfire Droid & Spider Droid set has potential as an investment due to its age, the popularity of the Star Wars theme, and the appeal of army building with droids. While not as iconic as some other Star Wars sets, its relative scarcity and the desire for Separatist forces among collectors could drive up its value over time. The set's value is heavily tied to the completeness and condition of the set and minifigures.
