Fans love the incredible play value and the combination of multiple vehicles with a building structure, though some note that older building techniques make it feel a bit dated compared to modern sets.

📝 Our Take

Construction Site (7633-1) is a nostalgic peak-City era classic that captures the bustling energy of urban development. Released in 2009, this set stands out for offering a complete, multi-vehicle play experience right out of the box, complete with a massive mobile crane and modular building sections.

This set is perfect for City layout enthusiasts, classic LEGO collectors, and younger builders who love heavy-duty play features. With three distinct vehicles, an operating elevator, and five hard-working minifigures, it provides hours of engaging scenarios without relying on licensed properties.

Skip this if you prefer modern, highly detailed modular buildings or display-only architectural models. The 2009 design aesthetic features a lot of standard town elements and simpler building techniques that might look dated next to today's releases.
