📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Beware the Vulture is a fantastic tie-in set that delivers incredible play value right out of the box. Capturing the gritty, street-level action from Spider-Man: Homecoming, this mid-sized kit packs a surprising punch with two heavily armed villains and a uniquely designed transport van.

This set is perfect for young Marvel fans and minifigure collectors on a budget. The inclusion of the iconic Vulture with his brick-built wings and the debut Iron Man Mark 47 armor makes this an absolute must-have for completionists hunting down rare MCU suits.

Skip this if you are looking for an advanced building challenge or a purely display-focused piece. At 376 pieces, the build is straightforward and geared much more toward action-heavy play than intricate shelf presentation.

⏳ Retired

As a retired set tied to a specific MCU film (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Beware the Vulture has quietly developed a solid following among superhero collectors. While it wasn't a massive flagship release, the presence of exclusive and highly desirable minifigures—most notably the Iron Man Mark 47 and Vulture with his fur-collar jacket—gives it enduring aftermarket appeal. Sealed copies steadily climb in value because minifigure hunters often cannibalize these sets. From a pure parts-to-price ratio when it was originally retailed at $39.99, it offered decent value, and its current sealed market performance reflects steady, reliable appreciation. It's unlikely to skyrocket like a massive UCS set, but steady demand from Marvel completists ensures it holds its worth exceptionally well on the secondary market.
