Forbidden Forest: Umbridge's Encounter is a charming, albeit small, recreation of a pivotal Harry Potter scene. It perfectly captures the foreboding atmosphere of the Forbidden Forest and the terror of Umbridge's encounter with the Centaurs.

This set is perfect for younger Harry Potter fans and those looking to expand their collection of minifigures. The build is relatively straightforward and quick, making it a great option for beginner LEGO enthusiasts. It also serves as a nice display piece for fans of the books and films.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

Forbidden Forest: Umbridge's Encounter presents a moderate investment opportunity, primarily driven by the enduring popularity of the Harry Potter theme. The set's relatively low piece count and price point may limit significant appreciation, but the inclusion of exclusive minifigures, especially the Centaurs, could bolster its value over time. As a retired set, its availability will decrease, potentially increasing demand among collectors and fans looking to complete their Harry Potter collections. However, its small size and lack of complex building techniques may temper its long-term growth potential.

Compared to other Harry Potter sets, Forbidden Forest: Umbridge's Encounter is smaller and more focused on minifigures and play features. Sets like Hogwarts Castle offer a more comprehensive building experience, but this set provides a more affordable entry point into the Harry Potter LEGO world and a unique scene recreation. It's a good choice for fans who want a specific scene or are primarily interested in the minifigures.
