📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

BD-1 is an adorable and accurate recreation of the droid from Jedi: Fallen Order. The set perfectly captures BD-1's personality and includes posable joints for expressive display. It's a charming addition to any Star Wars collection.

This set is perfect for Star Wars fans and collectors who enjoy display models. The build is engaging but not overly complex, making it a satisfying project for a weekend. The finished model looks fantastic on a shelf or desk.

Skip this if you are looking for a playset with minifigures. This set is purely a display piece. Consider sets like the Razor Crest or other vehicle-based sets for more play features.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

BD-1 (75335) presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a retired set from the popular Star Wars theme, it benefits from inherent brand recognition and collector interest. The set's piece count and relatively accessible price point upon release made it attractive to a broad audience. However, its status as a display model without minifigures might limit its long-term appreciation compared to sets with highly desirable characters. The rising price trend suggests increasing demand, but potential investors should monitor the market closely for price stabilization or corrections. Comparable Star Wars display models have shown varied performance, indicating that BD-1's investment potential is tied to continued interest in the Jedi: Fallen Order game and the broader Star Wars universe.

BD-1 stands out as a unique character-based display piece within the Star Wars LEGO lineup. While sets like the various X-Wing or TIE Fighter models offer vehicle-based builds, BD-1 provides a more personal and expressive display option. Those seeking minifigures or playset functionality might prefer the Razor Crest or other sets with playable elements. However, for fans of Jedi: Fallen Order or those wanting a charming droid companion, BD-1 is an excellent choice.
