⏳ Retired

The Droid Commander set presents a mixed bag as an investment. Its retirement adds some appeal, and the Star Wars theme always has a dedicated following. However, its focus on robotics and coding may limit its appeal to traditional LEGO collectors. The current price above MSRP indicates some demand, but appreciation may be slower compared to minifigure-heavy or display-focused sets. Consider this a long-term hold with moderate potential.

Compared to other Star Wars sets, Droid Commander offers a unique interactive experience. While lacking minifigures, its playability and educational value set it apart. LEGO Boost and Mindstorms offer similar functionality but lack the Star Wars theme. Consider this set for its coding aspect rather than display value.
