📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Resistance Troop Transporter is a solid addition to any Star Wars LEGO collection. Released in 2016, this set offers a detailed rendition of the vehicle as seen in the sequel trilogy, providing a good balance between playability and display value.

This set is perfect for Star Wars fans and LEGO enthusiasts looking for a medium-sized build. With a manageable piece count and iconic characters included, it's an enjoyable project that won't take weeks to complete and provides some cool minifigs.

Skip this if you are looking for a more challenging build experience or a larger, more imposing vehicle. Consider something like the Millennium Falcon or an AT-AT for a more complex and impressive display piece.

⏳ Retired

The Resistance Troop Transporter (75140-1) presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a retired Star Wars set, it benefits from the theme's enduring popularity. The inclusion of Admiral Ackbar and General Leia minifigures adds to its collectibility. While the piece count is not exceptionally high, the set's age and the stable price trend suggest it may see gradual appreciation, especially if kept in good condition. However, its relatively low price point compared to UCS sets limits its potential for dramatic gains.
