📝 Our Take

TIE Bomber & Asteroid Field is a delightful piece of Star Wars planet series history. Released in 2013, this pocket-sized set captures the iconic Imperial bomber in micro-scale alongside a unique printed planet piece that doubles as a hanging display ornament.

This set is perfect for Star Wars completionists and desk-display enthusiasts. Building this 60-piece model takes just a few minutes, making it a quick nostalgic treat or a fun impulse purchase for fans of the Original Trilogy.

Skip this if you are looking for a substantial building experience or modern minifigures. Because it's long retired, you'll need to check the secondary market where prices might outweigh the simple brick contents.

⏳ Retired

As part of the highly collectible Planet Series launched by LEGO in the early 2010s, set 75008 holds a special place in niche collector hearts. With a modest piece count of 60 elements, its value is driven primarily by theme nostalgia, the unique printed asteroid hemisphere, and the included TIE Bomber Pilot rather than complex building techniques. Because these sets have been retired for many years and complete sets with their original planets and minifigures are increasingly scarce, they tend to appreciate steadily among sealed collectors and set-completes. While not a massive financial powerhouse, it represents a stable, low-cost nostalgic asset for Star Wars investors.
