📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Lloyd's Jungle Chopper Bike is a surprisingly cool little set. From the Ninjago: The Island subtheme, it features a unique vehicle design and some great minifigures, making it a fun addition to any Ninjago collection, especially for those who enjoy the more adventurous, off-road aspects of the theme.

This set is perfect for younger Ninjago fans and those looking for a quick, engaging build. With under 200 pieces, it's a manageable project that offers good play value and decent display potential, fitting well into larger Ninjago dioramas or standing alone as a cool bike.

Skip this if you're primarily interested in large-scale, complex builds. If you're looking for a more challenging Ninjago experience, consider sets like the Ninjago City Gardens (71741-1) for a truly immersive build and display piece.

⏳ Retired

Lloyd's Jungle Chopper Bike (71745-1) presents a mixed investment profile. As a retired set from the popular Ninjago theme, it benefits from brand recognition and appeal to younger collectors. The low piece count and relatively low original MSRP limit its potential for significant appreciation. However, the unique minifigures and vehicle design may attract some collectors, particularly those focused on completing the Ninjago: The Island subtheme. Given the rising price trend, it may hold its value, but substantial returns are unlikely. Risks include the potential for future similar sets diluting its uniqueness and the limited availability of exclusive parts.

Epic Battle Set - Kai vs. Skulkin

Compared to other Ninjago vehicles in its price range, Lloyd's Jungle Chopper Bike offers a unique aesthetic with its jungle theme. Sets like Kai's Blade Cycle (71734-1) offer a more traditional ninja vehicle, but the Jungle Chopper stands out for its distinct design. If you prefer a more classic Ninjago vehicle, Kai's Blade Cycle might be a better choice, but if you want something different and eye-catching, the Jungle Chopper is a solid option.

3 Minifigures Included

Lloyd - The Island, Dark Green Camouflage - Mask, Shoulder Guard

The set includes three minifigures: Island Lloyd with unique camouflage and shoulder guard, Island Nya, and a Rumble Keeper. Lloyd's variant is exclusive to this subtheme, adding to the set's collectibility.
