📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Axl's Tower Carrier is a solid entry in the Nexo Knights theme. It offers a unique mobile base design with fun play features and a vibrant color scheme that stands out. The set captures the adventurous spirit of the Nexo Knights universe, making it a worthwhile addition to any collection.

This set is perfect for Nexo Knights fans and kids who enjoy action-packed play. The build is engaging but not overly complex, making it suitable for intermediate builders. The play features and minifigures add to the fun and imaginative play possibilities.

Skip this if you're looking for a highly detailed or challenging build. While enjoyable, it may not satisfy experienced builders seeking intricate techniques or display-focused models. Consider sets like the larger Nexo Knights castles or more advanced LEGO Technic vehicles instead.

⏳ Retired

Axl's Tower Carrier, being a retired Nexo Knights set, has a moderate investment potential. The Nexo Knights theme had a dedicated following, and this set offers a good piece count for its original price. As time passes, demand from collectors seeking to complete their Nexo Knights collections could drive up its value, especially if it remains in good condition with the box and instructions. However, the theme's overall popularity isn't as high as themes like Star Wars or Marvel, which caps its potential upside. The stable price trend suggests a slow but steady appreciation.

While sets like 'Jestro's Volcano Lair' (70323-1) provide a larger playset experience, Axl's Tower Carrier focuses on vehicle-based action. It's a good choice for those who prefer mobile play and a smaller footprint. Compared to other sets in a similar price range, it provides a solid piece count and a good balance of building and play.
