⏳ Retired

CHI Laval, as a retired LEGO Chima constraction figure, has a niche appeal. Its investment potential is moderate, primarily driven by Chima collectors and those interested in unique LEGO figure designs. The relatively low piece count and status as a constraction figure may limit significant appreciation, but its rarity as a retired set could lead to gradual value increases. Keep an eye on the overall popularity of the Chima theme and the condition of the set.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to other constraction figures, CHI Laval offers a unique blend of animalistic and mechanical design elements, setting it apart from Star Wars or Bionicle figures. While simpler in build than some larger constraction sets, it provides a distinct character for Chima fans. Those seeking more complex builds should look at the larger Star Wars constraction sets.

Nick van Ginkel's review of CHI Laval (70200) appreciates the exclusive colors and parts, which are beneficial for MOC (My Own Creation) builders. However, the reviewer finds the chest plate's design and paint job to be unimpressive, despite praising the swords.
