Released in 1993, this set perfectly captures the sleek, futuristic aesthetic of the theme, featuring a variety of vehicles and structures that can be combined in imaginative ways. With its distinctive black, white, and trans-neon green color scheme, it's a nostalgic trip for older LEGO fans and an introduction to a beloved era for newer collectors.

This set is perfect for LEGO enthusiasts who appreciate classic space themes and modular building. The 178 pieces offer a satisfying building experience that encourages creativity, and the three Blacktron II minifigures add to the set's playability and display value. Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

Super Model Building Instruction (6861-2) presents a moderate investment opportunity, primarily driven by its age, theme, and the nostalgia factor associated with Blacktron II. The set's relatively low piece count might limit its potential for significant appreciation compared to larger, more complex sets. However, the stable price trend suggests consistent demand, and well-maintained, complete sets with the original box and instructions are likely to hold their value or appreciate modestly over time. The presence of three minifigures also adds to its collectibility.
