The R2-D2 / C-3PO Droid Collectors Set presents an interesting investment opportunity due to its age, rarity, and status as a promotional item. Its value has been steadily increasing over the years, driven by demand from both LEGO and Star Wars collectors. The low piece count means the value is tied almost entirely to the poster's condition and the set's overall rarity. While the investment potential is there, be mindful of condition and authenticity when acquiring this set.
