Sports Car

As a retired, low-priced impulse buy from the City theme, the Sports Car occupies a unique niche in the aftermarket. While sub-$10 sets rarely appreciate into hundreds of dollars, small vehicles historically maintain steady demand from parents and bulk buyers looking for cheap, complete sets. The heavy concentration of dark azure pieces also appeals to part-out buyers who want rare color elements without paying high brick-link shipping for single items. With a current market price hovering around $20 (double its original MSRP), the set has already shown solid secondary market growth driven entirely by retirement. It won't fund a retirement account, but sealed copies purchased on clearance will easily hold and slowly grow their value as complete, boxed stocking-stuffer gifts for collectors completing their 2021 City sub-themes.
