City Advent Calendar 2020 is a festive home run for fans of the LEGO City Adventures animated series. Bursting with holiday cheer, it stands out by tying directly into the beloved TV show's characters and lore, moving beyond standard seasonal builds to offer a genuinely narrative-driven countdown.

This set is perfect for families, younger builders, and dedicated LEGO City collectors. With six unique character minifigures—including Duke DeTain, Freya McCloud, and Chief Wheeler in a full Santa suit—it offers incredible roleplay potential alongside quick, satisfying daily holiday builds and an included snowy play mat.

Skip this if you are looking for a substantial building challenge or advanced LEGO techniques. As an advent calendar, the builds are tiny, simple micro-models designed for quick daily gratification rather than complex or lengthy construction sessions.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

As a retired seasonal set featuring an exclusive character lineup tied to the LEGO City Adventures TV series, the 2020 Advent Calendar holds solid nostalgic appeal for holiday collectors. Advent calendars typically see steady post-retirement demand, especially from parents trying to complete past holiday lineups or fans hunting for specific festive variants like Santa Chief Wheeler. While the per-piece investment (342 parts for an original $29.99 MSRP) is typical for the theme, seasonal sets often appreciate well once sealed stock dries up entirely. Investors should look for pristine, undamaged boxes, as collectors of holiday items are particularly sensitive to packaging condition.
