The LEGO City Advent Calendar 2022 is a delightful way to count down to Christmas. Packed with 24 mini-builds and six minifigures, it offers a fun surprise each day, making it a great tradition for LEGO-loving families.

This set is perfect for young LEGO enthusiasts and families looking for a festive building experience. The simple builds are easy for kids to assemble, and the variety of models keeps the excitement going throughout December. It's a great way to add a little LEGO magic to the holiday season.

Skip this if you're looking for a complex or challenging build. The focus is on quick, easy-to-assemble models. Consider the Star Wars or Harry Potter advent calendars for licensed themes with slightly more intricate designs.

⏳ Retired

The LEGO City Advent Calendar 2022, being a retired set, has potential as a small investment. Advent calendars generally see a boost in value due to their seasonal appeal and limited availability after retirement. While the City theme is broad, the Christmas theme adds a unique element that collectors may seek. However, the relatively low piece count and mass-market availability might limit significant appreciation. Investing in multiple sealed sets could mitigate the risk and increase potential returns.

Compared to other LEGO advent calendars, the City version offers a broader range of everyday-themed mini-builds rather than focusing on a specific franchise like Star Wars or Harry Potter. It's a good choice for kids who enjoy the regular City sets and want a variety of models. While the licensed calendars might hold more long-term value, the City version provides a more versatile parts selection for future building projects.
