Sailboat Rescue is a charming little set that captures the essence of a Coast Guard mission. The sailboat design is simple yet effective, and the inclusion of a rescue craft adds a dynamic element to the play experience. It's a great way to introduce younger builders to the world of LEGO City and emergency services.

This set is perfect for children aged 5-12 who enjoy imaginative play and building vehicles. The build is straightforward and easy to complete, making it a satisfying project for beginner LEGO enthusiasts. The two minifigures provide ample opportunity for creating rescue scenarios and adventures.

Skip this if you're looking for a highly complex build or a large display piece. This set is designed for play rather than intricate detail. Consider the larger Coast Guard sets like the Coast Guard Patrol Boat (60274-1) if you want a more challenging build.

⏳ Retired

Sailboat Rescue (60168-1) is a retired set from the LEGO City Coast Guard theme. Its investment potential is moderate. The Coast Guard theme has a consistent fan base, and retired sets often see a gradual increase in value. However, the set's relatively small piece count and common minifigures limit its potential for significant appreciation. It's likely to hold its value and potentially increase modestly over time, especially if kept in mint condition.
