⏳ Retired

As a retired 2016 impulse set with a low original MSRP of $6.99, Tire Escape has slowly crept up in value due to its sheer novelty and charm. While 47-piece sets rarely turn into massive financial windfalls, sealed copies hold steady appeal for completionist LEGO City collectors and nostalgic fans. Because the secondary market price sits comfortably around $13, the return in absolute dollar terms is modest, but percentage-wise it shows steady appreciation. The inclusion of unique printed elements like the police badge tile and a fun crook minifigure helps maintain minor collector demand over time.

Compared to larger LEGO City police sub-themes, Tire Escape represents the golden era of small impulse sets that gave you a complete story—a pursuer and a pursued—for under ten dollars. While modern sets often lean heavier into larger price points, this stands alongside classic micro-vehicles as a brilliant budget-friendly chase starter.
