Not enough price history for a trend

C+

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The 4x4 with Powerboat (60085-1) presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a retired set from the popular City Harbor theme, it benefits from nostalgia and the enduring appeal of LEGO vehicles. Its relatively low piece count might limit significant appreciation, but the complete set with minifigures retains collector interest. Comparable retired City sets have shown steady growth, suggesting this one will likely hold or slightly increase in value over time. However, broader market trends and the availability of similar sets could influence its performance.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

The 4x4 with Powerboat offers a more focused play experience compared to larger harbor sets. While sets like the Coast Guard Patrol (60014-1) offer more complex builds and features, this set provides a more accessible entry point into the harbor theme. Its smaller size and lower price point make it a great choice for younger builders or those looking for a quick and enjoyable build.

Mihai Murg's reviews of the LEGO City 4x4 with Powerboat (60085) highlight the set's features, including the enclosed cabin and black rims of the 4x4, and the boat's ability to float with its opening cabin and lifting engine. However, some reviewers note the minifigures' torsos and legs are not unique, and the 4x4 is quite large relative to the minifigure scale.
