📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Helicopter Arrest is a solid entry in the LEGO City Police theme. Released in 2013, this set delivers a classic cops-and-robbers scenario with a well-designed helicopter and a hideout for the crooks. The play features and variety of minifigures make it an engaging set for kids and collectors alike.

This set is perfect for children who enjoy imaginative play and LEGO City fans. The build is straightforward and not too time-consuming, making it accessible for younger builders. The inclusion of multiple minifigures encourages creative storytelling.

Skip this if you are looking for a more challenging or detailed build. While fun, it lacks the complexity of larger, more intricate sets. Consider sets like the Police Station (60141-1) for a more involved experience.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

Helicopter Arrest (60009-1) presents a moderate investment opportunity. Its status as a retired set from a popular theme (LEGO City) adds to its appeal. The set's piece count and minifigure selection are decent, although not exceptionally rare. The set's value will likely appreciate gradually over time, especially if kept in sealed condition. However, it's not expected to skyrocket in value due to the relatively large number of sets produced initially. Investors should be aware of potential market fluctuations and the availability of similar sets.
