The Play Plane, while not a traditional investment piece, holds niche appeal for collectors interested in the early history of LEGO and the Primo line. Its low piece count and target audience limit its widespread collectibility. However, due to its age, rarity, and potential nostalgia factor, it may see continued price appreciation, especially if kept in pristine condition with original packaging. The rising price trend suggests growing interest in this vintage set.
