Only five LEGO Star Wars helmets are still sold new in 2026, and three of them, The Mandalorian, Kylo Ren and the AT-AT Driver, are expected to leave LEGO's range on December 31. The helmets most people picture, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and the Stormtrooper, have all retired. This guide covers what you can still buy, what has gone, and how to plan a shelf around the series.

The helmets still on sale
Leaving December 31, 2026
The Mandalorian's beskar helmet, the oldest of the five still on sale. LEGO recreates the metal sheen with drum-lacquered silver elements and several shades of grey.
Kylo Ren's helmet, released for the 10th anniversary of The Force Awakens, with printed silver detail elements.
The helmet of the AT-AT drivers from the Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back, the Original Trilogy pick of the five.
Staying into 2027
Jango Fett's helmet from Attack of the Clones, including the adjustable rangefinder antenna. Expected on sale until the end of July 2027.
The newest helmet, released June 1, 2026: the Imperial Remnant AT-RT Driver from The Mandalorian and Grogu. Expected on sale until the end of 2027.
Which one to buy
- A Mandalorian fan: The Mandalorian helmet now, since it leaves at the end of the year, and the AT-RT Driver from the film later.
- A sequel trilogy fan: Kylo Ren, also leaving December 31, 2026.
- An Original Trilogy fan: the AT-AT Driver is the only Original Trilogy helmet still sold new.
- A prequel fan: Jango Fett, the one current helmet from the prequels.
- Someone who wanted Darth Vader: the helmet has retired, so look at the Darth Vader Bust instead, or buy the retired helmet second-hand.
The retired helmets
Ten helmets in the series have left LEGO's range. New copies now come from other stores' remaining stock or from the secondary market, so check the set page before you pay above the original list price.

The best known of them
The Darth Vader helmet from 2021, the piece most people mean by a LEGO Star Wars helmet. Retired at the end of 2025.

Planning a helmet shelf
The helmets are made to a common display format: each one sits on a buildable black stand with a printed nameplate, so a row of them reads as one collection even when the helmets come from different films. A few ways collectors group them:
- By era: prequel (Jango Fett), Original Trilogy (AT-AT Driver), sequel (Kylo Ren) and the Mandalorian era (The Mandalorian, AT-RT Driver).
- By colour: the black Kylo Ren beside the silver Mandalorian makes the strongest contrast of the current five.
- By faction: Imperial (AT-AT Driver, AT-RT Driver), bounty hunters and Mandalorians (Jango Fett, The Mandalorian) and the First Order (Kylo Ren).
