Aurora's Forest Cottage is a charming recreation of a classic Disney scene. The set captures the whimsical feel of Sleeping Beauty with its detailed cottage design and vibrant color scheme. It’s a delightful addition to any Disney Princess collection.

This set is perfect for younger LEGO enthusiasts and Disney fans. The build is straightforward and enjoyable, making it a great introduction to LEGO building. The inclusion of Aurora and Maleficent minifigures enhances the play experience and display value.

Skip this if you're an advanced builder seeking a complex project. While visually appealing, the build is relatively simple. Consider LEGO Disney Castle (71040-1) for a more challenging and intricate Disney build.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

Aurora's Forest Cottage presents a modest investment opportunity. As a retired set from the popular Disney Princess theme, it benefits from brand recognition and nostalgia. While the piece count is relatively low, the set includes exclusive minifigures and unique decorative elements that could drive up its value over time. However, its initial MSRP was quite accessible, which might limit significant price appreciation. Investors should monitor its availability and demand within the collector's market. The rising price trend indicates growing interest, but careful consideration is advised before making a substantial investment.

Compared to other Disney Princess sets like Cinderella's Carriage Ride (43193-1), Aurora's Forest Cottage offers a more nature-focused play experience. While smaller than the larger Disney Castle (71040-1), it's a more affordable option for younger fans.
