📝 Our Take

Nova's Room is a surprisingly packed slice-of-life set that punches well above its 179-piece weight class. By focusing on modern hobbies like gaming and pet rescue, LEGO injects genuine personality into this compact Friends bedroom build.

This set is perfect for younger builders, Friends fans, and anyone looking for a quick, charming display piece. The inclusion of the gaming setup, complete with a PC tower and neon accents, makes it a fun modern vignette that offers an engaging building experience in under an hour.

Skip this if you are hunting for massive architectural builds or complex Technic mechanisms. At under 200 pieces, it's a micro-scale slice of a bedroom that is meant for quick play rather than an epic construction marathon.

⏳ Retired

As a retired sub-$20 LEGO Friends set, Nova's Room occupies an interesting space in the aftermarket. Small sets featuring contemporary and relatable themes—like gaming—often hold steady appeal for parents and young collectors looking for affordable gifts. While it may not command massive aftermarket premiums like large licensed sets, its low entry price and retiring status mean it has a solid floor for steady, modest appreciation over the coming years. The inclusion of two named characters (Nova and Zac) along with a cute animal figure and unique gaming-themed elements adds minor collector appeal. However, because it was mass-produced and widely available during its shelf life, supply remains high. Investors shouldn't expect rapid wealth generation here, but it makes a low-risk, fun addition to a diversified secondary market portfolio if found sealed at or near retail price.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to traditional LEGO Friends bedroom sets which often lean heavily into pastel aesthetics, Nova's Room stands out with its edgy dark blue and turquoise color scheme and modern gaming setup. It offers similar play value and piece counts to sets like Liann's Room (41739), but appeals directly to fans of tech and gaming culture.
