Hoogi is a quirky and fun entry into the Mixels line. This set captures the playful and somewhat bizarre nature of the Mixels theme perfectly, with its distinctive color scheme and unique character design that stands out from other LEGO themes.

This set is perfect for younger builders and fans of the Mixels series. The build is straightforward and quick, making it an excellent introduction to LEGO construction, and the finished model is great for imaginative play and display.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

Hoogi, as a retired Mixels set, has seen a gradual increase in value, but it's not a high-ticket item. Its low piece count and original MSRP limit its potential for explosive growth. However, the Mixels theme has a dedicated following, and complete collections are sought after. While not a guaranteed investment, it could appreciate modestly over time, especially if kept sealed.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to other small LEGO sets in the $5-$10 range, Hoogi offers a unique character-based building experience within the Mixels theme. While sets like LEGO City vehicles provide more traditional building, Hoogi appeals to those seeking quirky and collectible characters. If you prefer classic LEGO building, a City or Creator set might be a better choice, but for Mixels fans, Hoogi is a must-have.
