📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Funny Octopus Ride is a charming and colorful addition to any LEGO Friends amusement park. It perfectly captures the whimsical nature of a fairground attraction with its spinning tentacles and cute sea creature cars, offering a delightful building and play experience.

This set is perfect for younger LEGO enthusiasts and fans of the Friends theme. The build is relatively straightforward, making it accessible for children aged 7+, and the bright colors and playful design will appeal to their creative imaginations.

Skip this if you're an experienced builder looking for a challenging and complex project. While enjoyable, the build is geared towards a younger audience and may not offer the depth that older builders seek; consider the larger scale Creator Expert fairground sets instead.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Funny Octopus Ride, being a retired LEGO Friends set, possesses moderate investment potential. Its appeal lies in its theme, which is popular among younger builders and collectors. The set's piece count and unique elements contribute to its collectibility. However, its value appreciation might be gradual compared to larger, more complex sets. As a retired set, its value is expected to increase over time, but the rate of increase will depend on its condition and the demand from collectors.
