📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Gremlins Gizmo and Stripe Figures (40919) is a delightful blast of 80s nostalgia brought straight into the BrickHeadz universe. Capturing the adorable nature of Gizmo alongside the chaotic, punk-rock villainy of Stripe makes this duos pack an absolute treat for horror-comedy fans.

This set is perfect for movie buffs, 80s pop culture enthusiasts, and BrickHeadz collectors looking for something a bit outside the norm. With 230 pieces, it's a quick and breezy weekend afternoon build that results in two instantly recognizable display pieces complete with fun character accessories like popcorn and a skateboard.

Skip this if you aren't a fan of the source material or generally dislike the blocky BrickHeadz aesthetic. While fun, it's ultimately a static display item rather than a complex build, so hardcore builders looking for intricate techniques might want to pass.

⏳ Current release

As a licensed pop culture set based on a beloved 80s cult classic, Gremlins 40919 holds solid long-term investment potential. The BrickHeadz theme has a dedicated collector base that aggressively hunts down retired pop-culture duos, especially those outside the typical Disney, Marvel, or Star Wars bubbles. With a modest $24.99 entry price, the barrier to entry for speculators is low, making it an easy set to tuck away multiple copies of. Looking at historical trends for movie-licensed BrickHeadz double packs, secondary market appreciation tends to be quite strong once the set leaves official retail channels. The crossover appeal between LEGO collectors and classic horror-comedy fans will likely drive steady demand long after retirement. While it may not see explosive, ultra-high-tier gains like major UCS Star Wars sets, it is a very safe, low-risk addition to any secondary market portfolio.

Compared to standard single-character BrickHeadz, this double-pack offers much better narrative value by pairing a hero and villain together. Similar to other cinematic double-packs, it punches above its weight class for display appeal on a desk or shelf.
