📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Captain America & Red Hulk Figures (40668) brings the clash of the titans from Brave New World straight to the BrickHeadz lineup. Capturing Sam Wilson's new avian-winged suit alongside Thaddeus Ross's massive crimson alter-ego makes for a surprisingly vibrant and aggressive duo on the shelf.

This set is perfect for Marvel superfans and BrickHeadz collectors looking for a quick, punchy build. Clocking in at 202 pieces, it offers an afternoon of casual construction with some neat techniques used to layer Red Hulk's bulky frame and Captain America's signature shield.

Skip this if you prefer traditional minifigures or aren't a fan of the blocky BrickHeadz aesthetic. At $19.99, it's a fun novelty, but display space might be better saved for full-scale action sets if you aren't already collecting the stylized statues.

Not enough price history for a trend

B+

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

As a licensed Marvel BrickHeadz double-pack tied directly to a specific MCU film (Captain America: Brave New World), set 40668 carries a moderate amount of secondary market potential. BrickHeadz dual packs historically perform well post-retirement, especially when featuring popular characters like Red Hulk and a variant of Captain America. With an accessible $19.99 MSRP and 202 pieces, the barrier to entry for speculators is quite low. However, because the price trend history is currently unknown and the market can occasionally become oversaturated with MCU merchandise, expecting guaranteed short-term gains would be unwise. Collectors should keep an eye on how the film performs culturally and how quickly the set exits store shelves. If you plan to hold this set, store it safely in a smoke-free environment, but be prepared for a slow and steady appreciation curve rather than an overnight windfall.
