📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Tournament Training Ground is a great impulse buy for Ninjago fans. This small set packs in two minifigures and a handful of training equipment, offering a quick taste of the Ninjago world. It's an affordable way to add to your Ninjago collection or introduce someone to the theme.

This set is perfect for kids who are already into Ninjago or those looking for a small, playable set. The build is simple and fast, and the included minifigures encourage imaginative play. It's also a good option for adult collectors who want to expand their Ninjago minifigure roster without breaking the bank.

Skip this if you're looking for a challenging build or a large display piece. With only 49 pieces, this set is more about the minifigures and play value than the building experience. Consider larger Ninjago sets for a more involved build.

⏳ Retiring soon

The Tournament Training Ground set, while small, could see modest appreciation due to its affordability and the enduring popularity of the Ninjago theme. Its low piece count and wide availability limit significant gains, but the inclusion of two minifigures, especially if one becomes exclusive or highly sought-after, can drive some value. The rising price trend suggests current demand exceeds supply, which is a positive sign. However, as with all small sets, investment potential is limited compared to larger, more exclusive sets.

Compared to other small Ninjago sets, the Tournament Training Ground offers a good balance of minifigures and build elements for its price point. While larger sets offer more complex builds and play features, this set is a great entry point for new Ninjago fans or a quick addition to an existing collection. Consider the larger Ninjago training temple sets for a more substantial build experience.
