📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

VanByter is a tiny but fierce slice of the short-lived Nexo Knights universe. Released in 2018 as a foil pack or impulse buy, this micro-build packs a surprising amount of villainous flair into just seven pieces.

This set is perfect for completionists and fans of the technomancer techno-horror aesthetic. It takes mere seconds to assemble, making it a fun stocking stuffer or pocket-sized companion rather than an immersive building experience.

Skip this if you are looking for a substantial build or have no nostalgia for Nexo Knights. At only seven pieces, it offers very little building satisfaction on its own.

⏳ Retired

As a retired 2018 promotional/impulse set with a tiny 7-piece count, VanByter occupies a very niche corner of the secondary market. While sealed polybags and foil packs do hold some nostalgic appeal for dedicated Nexo Knights collectors, overall appreciation is constrained by the lack of a traditional minifigure and the theme's discontinuation. That said, the inclusion of Pearl Titanium and Trans-Bright Green elements gives it a slight edge for parts collectors. It will likely remain stable in value around its current price point, making it a fun cheap collectible rather than a serious financial investment.
