The Fire Station (2658-1) is a charming blast from the past. This classic 1989 Duplo set embodies the simple joy of LEGO play, featuring bright colors, chunky bricks, and instantly recognizable emergency vehicles. It's a nostalgic trip for AFOLs and a great introduction to the world of LEGO for young children.

This set is perfect for Duplo collectors and parents seeking durable, age-appropriate toys. The large bricks are easy for small hands to manipulate, and the set offers endless opportunities for imaginative role-playing. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller play areas.

⏳ Retired

The Fire Station (2658-1) holds some appeal as a vintage LEGO set, particularly within the Duplo collector community. Its age and relatively low piece count make it an accessible entry point for those interested in collecting older sets. However, its value is heavily dependent on condition and the presence of original packaging. While it's unlikely to generate significant returns, it could be a worthwhile investment for nostalgia or as a piece of LEGO history. The set's rarity is moderate, as it was a widely available set during its production run.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to modern LEGO City fire station sets, this Duplo set offers a simplified and more age-appropriate building experience for young children. While it lacks the detail and complexity of LEGO System sets, its large bricks and durable construction make it ideal for toddlers. Consider modern Duplo fire stations for updated designs and features, but this vintage set offers a unique nostalgic charm.
