My First Ladybug is a delightful introduction to the world of building for the tiniest hands. Featuring chunky DUPLO bricks and a charming rolling car base, this preschool-friendly set is engineered specifically for developing early motor skills and imaginative play.

This set is perfect for toddlers aged 1 to 3 and parents looking for durable, safe first toys. The adorable printed face brick and interactive spinning head offer simple storytelling elements that will captivate very young children during quick play sessions.

Not enough price history for a trend

C+

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

As a small, sub-$5 DUPLO impulse buy from 2018, My First Ladybug wasn't historically targeted at traditional LEGO investors. With only 6 pieces, its secondary market potential relies almost entirely on nostalgic parents, completionist DUPLO collectors, or early childhood educators looking for specific animal elements. Because these sets were heavily played with by toddlers, finding sealed examples in pristine condition is becoming increasingly difficult. However, due to the low initial MSRP and minimal secondary market demand for small DUPLO sets, appreciation is expected to remain modest. It gets a passing grade for casual collectors, but serious investors should look toward larger system sets.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to other small DUPLO impulse sets, 10859 stands out for its functional rolling base and charming printed face tile. While standard DUPLO brick packs offer more total pieces for the dollar, this set provides a complete character-driven play experience right out of the box, similar to other My First animal sets in the theme.
