📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Smokey's Garage brings the high-octane charm of Disney-Pixar's Cars 3 straight to the playroom. As part of the LEGO Juniors line, this 124-piece set is specifically designed with larger starter pieces to help younger builders transition from Duplo to standard system bricks without the frustration.

This set is perfect for young Disney fans aged 4 to 7 who love vehicle play. Featuring three iconic characters—Lightning McQueen, Smokey, and Junior Moon—it offers endless role-play potential right out of the box, letting kids recreate pit stop action and racetrack training sessions.

Skip this if you are an older collector or looking for an intricate building challenge. Because it's tailored for younger children with simplified builds, AFOLs and older builders will find the construction far too quick and basic to hold their interest.

Smokey's Garage (10743-1) occupies a unique niche as a retired Disney-Pixar Cars Juniors set. Because it appeals primarily to nostalgic younger fans and character collectors rather than traditional adult investors, its secondary market growth tends to be steady rather than explosive. The inclusion of three named characters—especially Smokey and Junior Moon who are harder to find elsewhere—provides a nice niche appeal for completionists tracking down specific Cars-themed vehicles.

Compared to larger System-scale city or licensed sets, Smokey's Garage prioritizes durability and quick assembly over complex part counts. While standard City garage sets target older builders with intricate mechanics, this set focuses heavily on character-driven play value reminiscent of other Cars 3 tie-in sets from 2017.

3 Minifigures Included

Lightning McQueen, Juniors, Large Rust-eze Logo

The set includes character cars rather than traditional minifigures, featuring Lightning McQueen with a large Rust-eze logo, Smokey, and Junior Moon. These character vehicles are highly collectible for Disney-Pixar Cars fans looking to complete their 2017 lineup.
