Would it be worth it to get EV3 and expect them to last (software wise)?

Discovered for you from r/legomindstorms

I’m a student and my school has old EV3 kits they don’t use anymore (they upgraded to spike prime) and they let me mess around with them and I love them and have asked about buying them from my district or something like that. I see on the website for the software it says supported until the summer of 2026 or something like that? Would that be a concern that the software would stop working after that date or not? submitted by /u/lazy__gamer23 [link] [comments]
