Where to start with a full 31313 Mindstorms EV3 set?

Hi everyone. A couple of weeks ago I was given a full Lego 31313 Mindstorms set for free, along with a book that details 8 other robots to build as well as instructions to "hack" or code the control module. My main question is where do I start? I figured I'd start with the basic Track3r set as it appears to be the most simple of the ones shown. After that is it better to continue building the other robots or to try building other automated constructions? I have some experience coding (about...
