Solution for peeling stickers?
The LEGO community is seeking solutions for a common problem: peeling stickers on LEGO sets. A user, /u/spurious_interrupt, is looking for advice on how to fix the stickers on their Aston Martin Valkyrie set (set #42208) after they began to peel.
The user specifically noted that the stickers on the curved pieces of the Aston Martin Valkyrie are peeling at the top. They are considering two potential solutions: either trimming off the peeling section of the sticker to preserve the neon stripe or using glue to reattach the sticker. However, the user is unsure what type of glue would be best for this purpose.
This issue is a frequent concern among LEGO builders, as stickers can peel over time due to wear and tear or environmental factors. The user is seeking advice from fellow LEGO enthusiasts on the best way to address this problem.
If you've encountered this issue, you might want to consider a LEGO sticker sheet protector to prevent future peeling.
I built this Aston Martin Valkyrie set a while back (#42208), but the stickers on these curved pieces have started to peel at the top on their own. Does anyone have a good solution for this? I am thinking of either cutting off the peeling part (since the important thing is the neon stripe going across) or using some kind of glue to glue it back on. However, I’m not sure what type of glue would work best for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. submitted by /u/spurious_interrupt ...
