Should we petition for Lego to no longer release technic sets that are display sets

sigh, this again. Lego has released even more technic sets that are 18+ and purely for display such as the new McLaren MCL39 Lego technic car, with some improved functions but looks more like a display set. what I want here is for Lego to finally release some useful sets that explain mechanics well like sets that can be customised to what you want such as the old ones like the bucket wheel excavator, it can be F1 themed but not like a display set that can only be built in 1 way and not...
