Remotes and Receivers ??? (Lego, BuWizz, Sbrick, Cada...?)

I just rediscovered lego MOC-building as a hobby and I am currently building a 1/12 scale moc which is powered by four buggy motors. The Lego infrared receiver and remotes I own don't seem to be working properly anymore. I guess it's because I haven't used them for the last ten years. So I'm looking for alternatives. I am owning about fifty lego power functions-motors and would like to use them in the future. I heard about Lego Poweded Up, BuWizz, Sbrick, Cada and Mould King. Please correct...
