Question about fan rotor piece

I might post this on the main sub too but I wanted to ask here, I'm planning on recreating a set I had when I was younger (the Space Police gold heist 5971) in different colors and with some personal modifications to some areas of the set. I wanted to add a bar into the technic pin connection on this turbine fan piece. I know that some of the less basic technic pins on pieces like this can actually be too tight to fit a bar into especially when its in a technic hole. It's not important to me...
