Lego should release another car transporter set for all the small scale licensed cars they’re releasing

Reddit user /u/XC_39 has sparked a lively community discussion by suggesting that the LEGO Group needs to release a brand new car transporter set. With the older set 42098 approaching its seventh anniversary, fans are eager for another large-scale, highly functional truck that can properly transport the many small-scale licensed vehicles currently hitting the market.

Set 42098 originally set a high standard for Technic-style vehicle transport, and collectors now want a modern equivalent to showcase their growing fleets. The sheer volume of smaller licensed cars currently available makes a dedicated transport vehicle a glaring gap in the current lineup that many builders hope the designers will soon address.

While this discussion remains purely a fan-driven wishlist rather than an official announcement or leak, it highlights a clear demand within the community for large, functional utility vehicles. As you organize your growing collection of vehicles, you might want to pick up a LEGO display case to showcase your favorite builds, or sort your spare parts using a LEGO storage box while waiting to see if LEGO answers the call for a new transporter.
