I want to control my ev3 with an Xbox series controller

I recently found out that you can use the brick controller 2 app to control Lego powered up hubs with an Xbox controller. I found a few clips of people doing the same thing or directly connecting their controllers to their ev3s but I have no experience with python and I can't find any tutorials on how to do it.
