Humvee Wagon 1:8 Scale MOC

The Humvee Wagon 1:8 Scale MOC project, inspired by the Supercar Series, is a custom LEGO creation with over 4,000 pieces, designed with a focus on realism and functionality. The project, which began about a year ago and was revived last November, incorporates several key features to mimic the look and feel of the real vehicle.

The MOC includes large suspension components for an authentic appearance, a hinged hood that reveals a working engine, and portal wheel hubs. The creator aimed for a design similar to the Supercar Series, avoiding motors and HOG steering. The model is based on the military version of the Humvee, featuring a V8 diesel engine and a 4-speed transmission with a locking central differential. The design process was primarily conducted in the Studio tool, with the model being 95% designed before parts were ordered.

The build process involved numerous changes and improvements, leading to multiple Bricklink orders. While the final product is sturdy and visually appealing, the steering has limited travel and doesn't function optimally. The creator also noted that the engine bay and interior could benefit from more detailed work. Currently, there are no plans to create instructions for the MOC.
