Do LEGO Holiday train sets (like 10361) drop in price after winter/Christmas season?

Just curious about pricing trends for LEGO seasonal sets. Specifically with 10361 Holiday Express Train - people seem to mention that just 956 pieces without powered up feels a bit low for the price. Do sets like this usually get discounted noticeably after the holidays / winter season, or do they mostly stay near retail until they retire?
