⏳ Current release

The LEGO Icons Holiday Express Train (10361) presents a moderate investment opportunity. Its appeal lies in its seasonal theme and the enduring popularity of LEGO trains. The inclusion of a 3D-printed train piece could add a unique element that collectors will seek. However, seasonal sets can be sensitive to market trends. While it may not reach the heights of some limited-edition sets, its festive nature and play features should ensure a steady demand, particularly after retirement.

The LEGO community is excited about the Holiday Express Train (10361-1), particularly its potential for motorization using the Powered Up system, though some find the official LEGO motors expensive and recommend alternatives like CADA. While the track pieces are standard, availability issues with the required Hub (88009) and Remote (88010) are a concern, though they aren't officially retired.

The hub has Bluetooth and can be operated through an app. I just ordered all that except the remote for my wife for her Christmas display.
