Control + app and motor not strong enough

Hey all. Having a problem with my sons Audi quattro etron. I've connected it to the standard control plus app, and it calibrates perfectly. Wheels spin when it tests and I sit it up off the ground. When I put it down however and its sitting on its own weight, its like not enough power is being delivered to the wheels.
